What is Progeria?

Progeria is a rare genetic condition, where the rating of aging accelerate abnormally. Although its depend on many factors when a child diagnosis with progeria they can be old fast. Let say 10 times faster than normal, 8 years old kid is equal to 80 years old on the kid Body condition.

As an Extreme Aging Disease, there is no cure for this right now. How ever there is a foundation which doing a research for better treatment. Progeria Research Foundation have special mission “to find treatments and the cure for Progeria and its aging related disorders”. Perhaps we can’t cure it for now, but if there a lot of participant on this research i believe someday we will find some bright light.

Some upcoming Fundraiser program for this foundation will be held soon. Sweet Kaylee will do this at Saturday, August 20 at the Maumee Festival. Train rides and a kids game area with all the money going to PRF. Also Kaylee’s Course Race for Progeria at Saturday, October 8 in Monclova.
